Part of the FIVB’s plans in Rio includes the opening of two #VolleyballYourWay Viva Vôlei Training Centres designed to offer children from the communities an opportunity to play volleyball on a regular basis.
The Centres – in the communities of Formiga and Babilonia – will use volleyball as a tool for social development, encouraging and fostering the positive impact of family relationships through volleyball.
The Centres will open ahead of the games with the project already guaranteed for the next four years, with almost 600 children expected to benefit.
