Semenov and Krasilnikov quick to correct faults to make it three from three

Rio de Janeiro, August 11, 2016 – Russia’s Konstantin Semenov and Viacheslav Krasilnikov won their third match to top their pool at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games with a 2-1 (21-15, 14-21, 15-9) victory over the Netherlands’ Reinder Nummerdor and Christiaan Varenhorst at Copacabana Beach Arena on Thursday.

Here’s what they said after the match…

Konstantin Semenov, Russia
“This victory means so much for us as we will go into the higher part of the draw which means we will have an easier match.

“In the second set we had some problems, but in the third set we took advantage of their errors.

“Our serve was aggressive and that gave us an advantage in the game. The only thing was we made two mistakes was in the middle of the game, but we quickly corrected them.”
