Rio de Janeiro, August 8, 2016 – USA’s Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross made it two wins from two at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games when they beat China’s Fan Wang and Yuan Yue 2-0 (21-16, 21-9) at the Copacabana Beach Arena on Monday.

“It was great. Right where we ran out it was lined with US supporters and they were cheering whenever we ran back there. We came out and definitely noticed all the flags and we definitely appreciate everyone who comes out and sees us in person. We really feel it all.
“I think the only thing I’m focused on is showing up, bringing our best and making sure we are prepared as we can be and then we lay it out there and let it rip. I just know how it feels and it feels really good. We had a great rhythm.”
