Canadian women go head to head to kick off the women's round of 16 on day eight

 
Rio de Janeiro, August 13, 2016 - Canada's two women's teams go head to head in the round of 16 on day eight with Heather Bansley/Sarah Pavan playing Jamie Broder/Kristina Valjas for the seventh time in FIVB World Tour competition.  Broder and Valjas will be looking for their first victory against their countrywomen.  The winner will advance to the quarterfinals, and the loser will be eliminated with a 9th-place finish.
