Thaisa got the first place in Youth South-American
Championship and in Junior South-American Championship, both in 2002. Playing
for brazilian junior female team, she conquered the Wolrd Championship twice:
in 2003 and in 2005. She also has two tittles in Superliga: 05/06 and 06/07,
both playing for Rexona-Ades (RJ). In 2007, she was second place in the
Pan-American Games, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, finished in the fifth place in
World Grand Prix and won the South American Championship. In the end of the
year, she was second placed in the World Cup. In the 2008 season, she played in
the season major competitions, all won by the Brazilian Team: Beijing Olympic
Games, the World Grand Prix and the Final Four. She also got the Montreux
Volley Masters 2009 title. After this she won the Pan American Cup, the
Qualifying Tournament for the World Championship-2010, the FIVB Grand Prix, the
South American Championship and finish in second place at the Grand Champions
Cup. In 2010, Thaisa won the silver medal in the World Grand Prix and in the
World Championship. The year of 2011 has been great for the player. Thaisa won
the gold medal at the Pan American Cup being elected the best blocker. In the
World Grand Prix, where Brazil ended in second, she was elected the best server.
Thaisa was also part of the team that won the South American title in Lima,
Peru and the Pan American Games, in Guadalajara, Mexico. In 2012, Thaisa helped
Brazil to win the gold medal in the London Olympic Games. In 2013, Thaísa
helped Brazil to win the World Grand Prix, where she was elected the MVP, the
South American Championship and the Grand Champions Cup. In 2014, she helped
Brazil to win the gold medal in the FIVB Grand Prix and the third place in the
FIVB World Championship in Italy.
