Jaqueline started in volleyball playing for Sport Club do Recife (PE),
in 1988. At the following year, she was for the first time in the Youth
National team and won the silver medal in the Youth World Championship, in
Portugal. Also in 1999 she went to BCN/Osasco (SP), in which she took the third
place in Superliga (the Brazilian National Championship). She won the gold
medal in Junior South American Championship, in 2000. At the following she year
was in the Brazilian Junior team that won the World Championship, in the
Dominican Republic. In that competition, Jaqueline was elected the best player.
She won twice the Superliga (2002/2003 and 2003/2004). In 2005, she was in the
team that conquered the Courmayeur Championship, the Montreux Volley Masters,
the fifth title of the Grand Prix, the South American Championship and the
World Grand Champions Cup. She was also chosen the best player in the
Qualification Tournament that guaranteed Brazil in 2006 World Championship. In
2006, she won the Courmayeur Championship, the Montreux Volley Masters and the
sixth title of the Grand Prix. At the end of the year, she got the second place
in the World Championship (where she was elected the best receiver). In 2007,
she played four friendly games against Serbia and got the second place in the
World Cup. She took part of the team that won all the competition in 2008
season: Beijing Olympic Games, the World Grand Prix and Final Four. Jaqueline
didn´t play for the Brazilian National team in 2009. She returned to the team
in 2010 and had a great season. She was elected the best attack in the FIVB
Word Grand Prix when Brazil finished with the silver medal. She also was part
of the team that ended in second place at the World Championship in Japan. In
2011, Jaqueline helped the team to win the South American title in Lima, Peru
and the Pan American title in Guadalajara, Mexico. In 2012, she had an amazing
performance in the Olympic Games and helped Brazil to win the gold medal. In
2013 Jaqueline was out of the team because she gave birth to her son Arthur.
She returned to the national team in 2014 and had an incredible performance
during the Brazil´s gold medal campaign in the Grand Prix. She also was part of
the team that achieved the bronze medal in FIVB World Championship in Italy. In
2015, she was part of the team that achieved the silver medal in the
Pan-American Games.
