Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June 16, 2016 – Brazil’s Natalia Pereira had the perfect Olympic experience at the London 2012 Games returning with gold around her neck.
Now, with the 2016 Games less than two months, the athlete eyes a second opportunity to compete in the biggest sporting event at home.
However, she says that there are always two sides to the coin.
"For Brazil, we have a good side and a bad side,” the outside hitter claimed. “The downside, the pressure, we are dealing with it. We know how to play at home, the pressure is much higher. But there are also the good side, which is the presence of our family and friends, the Brazilian fans on our side. This is great, we must always look at the positive side of it."
