Guidetti names Dutch Olympic squad

Nieuwegein, Netherlands, July 12, 2016 – Netherlands coach Giovanni Guidetti announced his 12-player squad for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games shortly after their bronze medal finish at the 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix in Bangkok. 

Guidetti was appointed in 2015, and since then, the Dutch team have made rapid progress and won Group 2 of the 2015 World Grand Prix that led to their promotion to Group 1 this year.

Libero Kristen Knip and middle blocker Nicole Koolhaas did not make the cut for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in August.
