France are in their final stretch of preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games at Saint-Nazaire

Saint-Nazaire, France, July 23, 2016 – France are sticking to a routine for success, as they are back in Saint Nazaire for their final training camp before heading out to Rio de Janeiro for the Olympic Games.

Last year, Laurent Tillie and his players also went to Saint-Nazaire, where they last trained before they captured the European Championship crown. Tillie and his players are pleased with the good training conditions at Saint-Nazaire.

Following their third place finish in the 2016 FIVB Volleyball World League Finals in Krakow, the French team had five days of rest before they start with the final stretch of preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The training will end on July 31, Sunday, then the team will leave for Rio de Janeiro the following day.

The team will play a gala match at Salle dela Coupe on July 28, with Julien Lyneel and Horacio D’Almeida, who are providing their support by training with the team. Likewise Tillie and his staff are working hard to put the players in top condition for their first match in Rio 2016 on August 7 against European rivals Italy at the Maracanazinho.
