Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 5, 2016 - USA coach Karch Kiraly is looking forward to Rio 2016 producing an amazing Olympic Games, as he prepares to lead his country in the quest for the one major title that still eludes them.

"We are confident that Rio 2016 will produce an amazing Olympic Games. Ours is a really strong group and every match is a challenge -but we always look forward to a good challenge," said the 55-year-old who seeks his first Olympic gold as coach, after winning two indoors in Los Angeles 1984 and Seoul 1988 and one on the beach in Atlanta 1996.

USA enter the Rio 2016 Olymmpic Games as reigning World Champions, but an Olympic gold still eludes them, after silver medals in Los Angeles 1984, Beijing 2008 and London 2012 (as well as a bronze in Barcelona 1992).

Having added the FIVB World Championship title to their list of honours in 2014 in Milan, they're now only missing an Olympic gold to complete their collection.

This is what the other coaches of women's Pool B had to say on the volleyball Olympic Tournament at the official Press Conference ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games:

Lang Ping, China: "We look forward to playing well in all our matches at Rio 2016, because we have to fight hard in every single one of them in order to win."

Giovanni Guidetti, The Netherlands: "We have six finals ahead of us at Rio 2016. We will give our all to reach the quarterfinals, but it is a very hard proposition."
