Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 9, 2016 – Beach volleyball players Casey Patterson of the United States, and Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen of the Netherlands were among the many spectators that were enjoying the Rio 2016 Olympic Games men’s volleyball match of Italy and USA at Maracanazinho on Tuesday.
Patterson came to support his compatriots and was admiring the great energy at the volleyball competition.

Brouwer and Meeuwsen also loved the atmosphere in volleyball.
“This match is great,” Meeuwsen said. “It’s nice to see that both teams are playing at a high level. It’s been a long time since I have played volleyball and seeing this level of competition is just amazing.”
“I like the atmosphere in the venue,” Brouwer said. “There are so many people watching and it’s great to see a full stadium in volleyball.”
