Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, July 29, 2016 – Fans can now get a clear overview of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games volleyball and beach volleyball schedules with dedicated infographics launched just one week out from the start of the tournament.
The beach volleyball tournament – set to take place on the beautiful sands of Copacabana – will begin on August 6 with the Round of 16 beginning on August 12, quarterfinals on August 14 and semifinals and finals on August 16.
The women’s volleyball tournament will also begin on August 6, with the men starting a day later on August 7. The women’s quarterfinals will be held on August 16, semifinals on August 18 and finals on August 20, while the men’s quarterfinals will take place on August 17, semifinals on August 19 and finals on August 21.
