FIVB official partners enjoy the Rio Olympic experience at Volleyball House and #CopaCourts

 

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 11, 2016 - FIVB partners from around the world have been soaking up the carnival atmosphere at the Volleyball House, which is providing an innovative and entertaining experience for guests during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. On Wednesday the FIVB’s official partners had the opportunity to play beach volleyball at the FIVB’s Copacabana Courts on the world famous Rio beach. 


Yuji Saeki and Daisuke Akiyama from official ball suppliers Mikasa; Lionel Arlin from official indoor volleyball supplier provider Gerflor; Yasuhiro Ohtsu, Shinobu Oya and Gustavo Petry from official supporter for sports apparel ASICS; Anja Schweickert and Iwona Leszkiewicz from official supporter for logistics DB Schenker and Akira Kurata and Tomohiro Nakano from Dentsu were among the attendees for the partner brunch and beach volleyball game. 

The partners were welcomed at the House by FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F°and FIVB Sponsorship Sales Director Mario Medeiros. They then took part in a game on the iconic Copacabana Beach where they were joined by volleyball legends two-time Olympic champion Maurício Lima, Olympic champion Vladimir Grbić and five-time world champion Randy Stoklos and the FIVB sponsorship sales team which includes former Russian national team volleyball player Elizaveta Tishchenko-Bracht.
