The Cameroon players went on a walkabout to thank the locals for their support
Lausanne, Switzerland, July 30, 2106 – Cameroon completed their preparations for their debut appearance in the Olympic Games with a 3-2 (25-23, 25-16, 18-25, 25-21, 17-15) victory on Saturday against Projeto Voleibol Valinhos in Jaguariuna in Sao Paolo State, Brazil.
The “Lionesses” have been preparing in Jaguariuna for two months and the locals have taken the team to their hearts with the Azulao Arena packed out for their last match.

The players did a walkabout through the streets of the city to thank the local population for their affection and support before leaving to join the rest of the Cameroon Olympic team in Rio de Janeiro.
That support may dwindle somewhat on August 6 when Cameroon face home favourites Brazil in their first match of the tournament.
